 Anecdote "We did Skoiled at Sheffield. It was a strange little piece about education. (Skoiled is a local corruption of the word Schooled. It also sound very much like spoiled, as in ruined.) Anyway, I played all of the teachers, both male and female. It was hilarious. I even played one woman as pregnant, and obsessed with knitting baby clothes. There are pictures somewhere. The things we do for a dollar!!"

We're in the year 1990, and it's an experimental establishment looking into the schools and how they operate. But who are they looking at? The teachers? The pupils? The system? Or the world? |
