| Anecdote "Dr Duponco's Traveling Wild West Medicine Show was done in and around Manchester a long time ago. I was working at Contact Theatre company, a company that dealt mainly with young people, and part of our mandate was to take shows out of the theatre into the community. So Dr D. was toured around public parks, a risky venture, as we simply set up and started, and never knew what kind of audience we might have. There were a few times I remember when members of the cast had to be rescued from the clutches of local yobbos. However, I was a lot younger then, and it was all great fun." |
