This drama about a wealthy Montreal family and their company, Valco features Andre, a francophone businessman patriarch and Katherine, a English classical musician matriarch, and their children Danielle, an investigative journalist, Rob, an entrepeneur son who tends to hang with the wrong people and Stephanie, the fashion model. In this episode, Stephanie injures her knee while on a fashion shoot in a remote Quebec town. Stranded by the winter storms, she is invited to stay with the town physician, Dr. Blaikie and his wife Louisa. During her stay, she fends off advances from the doctor and tries to help his emotionally abused wife. Meanwhile, Andre is vying to bid on a famous painting to be sold at auction.
