"From the first moment I saw you, that first look as you walked up my driveway, the way your body moved, the fire in your eyes, the curve of your lip - I knew that you meant business."

"So you don't believe in love at first sight. That's too bad. We all do, you know."

marry03.wav
"Well, I'll just have to be satisfied with the pleasure of sitting in your presence for a few moments. You're here to talk."

marry04.wav
"The heart is a very persistant little muscle."
"So is Mr. Happy, but if you let him lead you around you're gonna get into trouble.

marry05.wav
"Sex has nothing to do with this."

marry06.wav
"Let's just say that some people are more interested in money than they are in love."

marry07.wav
"Listen, I can explain everything. Maybe somewhere else, a little later? This is awkward."

marry08.wav
"It was never my intent to hurt Zoe. Zoe knows that I love her. I love women, Terri. I just love them."

marry09.wav
"All women. I worship them, I adore them. Each one is unique."

marry10.wav
"Take you, for example: when I look at you, I see a woman who's fiercely independent. But we sometimes forget that a strong woman is still a woman."

marry11.wav
"And beneath your tough exterior, I see a vulnerable woman who needs to be loved."

marry12.wav
"So you do believe in love at first sight. I should go."

marry13.wav
"Of course. You arrange it and I promise I'll come."
"Today."
"Fine."

marry14.wav
"I'm not running from anything, Terri."

marry15.wav
"You really do look beautiful today, you know that?"

marry16.wav
"You've put on a dress. That's great."

marry17.wav
"It's nothing I can't handle."

marry18.wav
"Single - and looking."
"Not looking - happy without."
"Thirty-three?"
"Four."
"Good for you."

marry19.wav
"Women don't really get magnificent until they're in their forties. Really. Forty-two - sublime. I get dizzy just thinking about forty-two."

marry20.wav
"I'm sorry. I couldn't help it. I just had a picture of you as a bride. You were stunning."

marry21.wav
"It's been great meeting you, ladies. I'm sure this will cover your trouble and your fees."

marry22.wav
"So warm. It's always the way. Always the seemingly coolest women are the most hot-blooded."

marry23.wav
"It's right there - boiling under the surface. All this feminine power just waiting to be released."

marry24.wav
"But I'm sure you already know that about yourself."

Anecdotes

"Taking the Falls was a short lived Canadian series created as a vehicle for Cynthia Dale who had been a big hit in Street Legal, another Canadian series. It was set in Niagara, but filmed in Toronto. I played a delightful character who had the ability to be all things to all women. Consequently he had seven wives, all of whom still loved him to distraction, and forgave him everything. He was eventually beaten to death, and I insisted on having one of his shoes off after he was dead. I just imagined him being hit so hard that he was literally lifted out of his shoes. Little things please little minds."
