Adam Trent (Patrick Bergin) is a new breed of criminal. He's a genius, a con-artist and a counterfeiter. Until now his specialty has been victimless crime. After ruthlessly executing a daring robbery Trent has six million good reasons to stay alive but the police, led by detective John Hobart (John Wesley Shipp), strike like lightning and put him behind bars.
Under extreme political pressure to recover the missing fortune, Hobart activates Special Operations agent Anne Fowler (Kate Vernon) whose mission is to go undercover and infiltrate Trent's organization. Believing his only weakness is greed, she offers Trent freedom. . .but at a price. For three million dollars she will break him out of jail and reunite him with the stolen cash. Trent agrees and the police lie in wait for him to blindly lead them to the money, but he sets his own trap. . . a trap baited with six million dollars in forged bank notes and his own lethal charm.
